Steel structures are made of steel and are one of the main types of building structures. They primarily consist of components such as beams, columns, and trusses, made from sections and plates. Rust removal and prevention processes such as silanization, pure manganese phosphating, water washing and drying, and galvanizing are used. Components are typically connected using welds, bolts, or rivets. Due to its light weight and simple construction, steel structures are widely used in large factories, stadiums, high-rise buildings, and bridges. Steel structures are susceptible to rust and generally require rust removal, galvanizing, or coating, as well as regular maintenance.

Steel is characterized by high strength, light weight, good overall rigidity, and strong resistance to deformation. It is particularly suitable for the construction of large-span, ultra-high, and ultra-heavy buildings. The material exhibits excellent homogeneity and isotropy, making it an ideal elastic body and best conforming to the basic assumptions of general engineering mechanics. The material also exhibits excellent plasticity and toughness, allowing for large deformation and excellent resistance to dynamic loads. Construction times are short, and its high degree of industrialization allows for highly mechanized, specialized production. Steel structures should research high-strength steel materials to significantly increase their yield strength. Furthermore, new steel sections, such as H-sections (also known as wide-flange steel), T-sections, and corrugated steel sheets, should be rolled to accommodate the needs of long-span structures and super-tall buildings.

Also, there are thermal bridge-free light steel structural systems. While buildings themselves are not energy-efficient, this technology solves the problem of thermal bridges by using ingenious special connectors. The small truss structure allows cables and plumbing to pass through the walls, facilitating construction and renovation.

PRODUCT FEATURES

1. High material strength and low weight. Steel has a high strength and elastic modulus. Compared to concrete and wood, its density-to-yield strength ratio is relatively low.

2. Steel has good toughness, plasticity, and uniform material properties, resulting in high structural reliability. It is suitable for withstanding impact and dynamic loads and exhibits excellent seismic performance.

3. High degree of mechanization in manufacturing and installation. Steel structural components can be easily fabricated in factories and assembled on-site. Mechanized factory-made steel structures offer high precision, high production efficiency, fast on-site assembly, and short construction times. Steel structures are the most industrialized type of structure.

4. Steel structures offer excellent sealing properties. Because welded structures can be completely sealed, they can be used to create airtight and watertight high-pressure vessels, large oil tanks, pressure pipes, and other applications.

5. They are heat-resistant but not fire-resistant. Steel properties change minimally at temperatures below 150°C. Therefore, steel structures are suitable for hot workshops. However, when exposed to heat radiation around 150°C, the surface must be protected with thermal insulation panels.

6. They have poor corrosion resistance and are prone to rust, especially in humid and corrosive environments. Steel structures generally require rust removal, galvanizing, or coating, and regular maintenance.

7. They are low-carbon, energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and reusable. The demolition of steel structures generates virtually no construction waste, and the steel can be recycled and reused.
