Aluminum profile scrap refers to the waste generated during the production or use of aluminum profiles, mainly including cut-off scraps, unqualified products and used aluminum profiles. These scraps have important economic and environmental value in recycling and reuse.

CLASSIFICATION AND SOURCE

‌New scrap aluminum‌: mainly from process waste generated by aluminum processing enterprises and casting manufacturers in the production process, or products that are scrapped due to composition and performance problems. These scraps are usually recycled by the production enterprises themselves and smelted into the original grade alloy. Some scraps will also be transported to aluminum electrolysis plants and other places in the form of processing for ingot replacement. ‌Old scrap aluminum‌: refers to scrap aluminum and scrap aluminum parts recycled from the society, including old aluminum doors and windows, aluminum parts in scrapped cars and machinery, aluminum conductors and aluminum metal parts in scrapped power grids, etc.

PRODUCT USES

‌Recycled Aluminum Production‌: After being recycled, sorted, packaged, crushed, magnetically separated, vortex separated, and depainted, aluminum profile waste enters the smelting process and eventually becomes the "golden raw material" with the same performance, characteristics, components, and content requirements as primary aluminum, which is used in downstream aluminum processing links to achieve grade-preserving utilization‌.

‌Cast aluminum alloy and aluminum iron‌: Recycled aluminum is mainly used to produce cast aluminum alloy and aluminum iron. Cast aluminum alloy is used in transportation, electrical engineering, structural materials, daily necessities, and construction industries; aluminum iron is used as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer for steelmaking‌.

‌Precision Casting‌: Aluminum profile waste can be processed into fine powder, made into molds, and then precision cast for use in military, aerospace, communications, instrumentation, machinery, and medical equipment.

‌Refractory products‌: Aluminum profile waste can be used to manufacture refractory products, such as refractory bricks, which have high refractoriness and chemical stability‌. ‌Other Applications‌: Aluminum profile waste can also be used to make bauxite cement, grinding materials, ceramic industry and chemical industry to produce various aluminum compounds‌.
